The three siblings decided to re-visit places that our parents used to go to 35 years ago! We already visited Brighton a couple of years ago, so this time, we went to Ramsgate, Isle of Tennet. Babah used to live and go to one of the School of English there. He mentioned that he would stroll along the dock, and watched the ferries leave for Europe. So, we traced back his "footsteps" and it seems that even after 35 years, not much has changed. The school he went to has closed down though. Talk about great timing, when we got to the dock, a ferry had just left its port and was sailing towards Europe! Unfortunately, it wasn't exactly the best weather for visiting, with occasional rain and strong wind, so we had to cut the visit short. =(
We also went to Margate. Parents used to go there, as the place is only 3 minutes away from Ramsgate. It's the place you go to to have fun! Seriously, the minute you step out of the station, you have arcades lining up the street to your left and right, and a massive, beautiful beach in front of you. Kaka's SLR was acting up, so we had to take our pictures using bro's iphone. I forgot to take them off him, and he's just flown back to Brunei! So, artinya, nadatah dapat provide pictures. Sorry!
